"Damask specialist Frette was
founded in 1860, and ever since has supplied grand Italian families
like the Borgheses, the Colonnas and the Viscontis. Frette also
furnished fine linen for the Orient Express sleeping cars."
"Today, traditional linen damask, whether old or new, is
sought out only by people with either highly conventional or
highly refined taste. Italy...is perhaps the best illustration
of this, since it produces some of the most beautiful damask...service,
the most refined of which are the work of the Frette firm of
Milan." |
The shams featured here are never-used, mint-condition items bought at auction from a Frette dealer who was moving to a new location. They are in their original packaging with retail prices still affixed. Some of these shams have been carefully removed from their packagings to produce the photographs shown here. As always, your satisfaction is top priority. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return the items to us in the condition in which they were sent to you, for a full refund, excluding shipping charges. |
