Beautiful museum-quality, coffee-table-book-quality embroidery and design combine to make this antique French linen sheet an heirloom. There is one professional and very well-done mend (approximately 1/8" square several inches above the monogram) and no other flaws to be noted, and this incredible sheet is even hem-stitched around the foot. The professional mend noted here is not noticeable unless held to the light. The fabric is that rare lightweight lawn type of linen--almost handkerchief-like in its character.
Imported from France in summer 2005, this sheet is trimmed in two bands of Cluny lace. 1 sheet measuring 92 1/2" in width (which does not include lace trim), and 131" in length (which does include lace trim)
